Session Description: Many of us have thought about submitting a topic for a conference presentation and either have not actually submitted one or have been rejected after doing so.  This session will explore the methods used by frequent presenters to discover their secrets in planning, preparing and presenting their best material - and getting asked to submit agasin and again.  The panelists will share specifics of their process. Some of them have been on the selection committee and can tell you about that process.  This will be a lively session with audience participation and Q&A time.

    Kit Tuveson is president of Tuveson & Associates LLC, a facility management consultancy company. His 36-year Hewlett-Packard career included responsible positions in process engineering, manufacturing line management, facility management, and environmental health and safety. Tuveson has managed facility teams, global program managers and cross-functional teams. He has served as global director of facility management operations, as well as global director of environmental health and safety. He is a graduate of Stanford University with a bachelorís degree in electrical engineering and a masterís degree in industrial engineering. Tuveson is a Certified Facility Manager; was IFMAís board chairman (1997-1998), instituting IFMA's formal association strategic planning process; and is past president of the FM Consultants Council of IFMA.
