Session Description:
This session highlights real estate trends in cities and in industries throughout the United States and the world, giving real estate and facility managers the tools to assist their organization with portfolio planning and strategy. In this interactive session, participants will learn what trends are happening in their market as compared to others around the world, and be able to share how these trends have affected their organization. This knowledge will aid in facility planning and will provide a basis for creating value with management in the participants’ organizations.

Janice Cimbalo is a senior vice president in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Los Angeles region. For the last 13 years, her career has been dedicated to strategic planning and implementation for large portfolios throughout the United States and internationally in both the public and private sectors. She also focuses on value-added client services such as incentive negotiations and workplace strategy evaluation. Prior to becoming a real estate tenant advisor, Cimbalo was a litigation attorney for seven years. She is currently the vice president and immediate past president of IFMA’s Corporate Real Estate Council, and co-authored the IFMA Foundation publication "Cut it Out." Currently, she is a contributing author on the IFMA Foundation’s international workplace strategy book.
